Went to another mechanic for a second opinion to find out the seal has gone in the turbo pushing coolant into the inlet manifold resulting in coolant in the combustion chambers, oil was sticky and it appeared to have caused blockages in the oil passages so it worked out cheaper to throw a 2nd hand motor in. My 1.4L 90Kw TSI (CAXA) had been loosing coolant (for about 3 months) I searched high and low and couldn't fine a physical leak, took it to my mechanic who suggested the coolant overflow, clean off the coolant residue and sent me on my way to monitor.Ībout a month later it was still using coolant and now the engine check light had come on so back to the mechanic fault was scanned P000A fault - Mechanics advise was to sell the car engine if effed. Is the CAXA engine as terrible as the feedback I'm getting? ![]()
